Mindling (“we”, “us”) provides a playful digital wellbeing experience that reflects device usage in the life and mood of an in‑app mascot. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Mindling, you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account and profile data: such as the identifier tied to your sign‑in method, display name if you provide one, and preferences you set in the app.
- App activity and mascot state: progress, moods, items, currency balances (for example “mana”), and similar game state needed to run the experience.
- Screen time and device signals (when enabled): summaries or metrics from your operating system’s wellbeing / screen‑time APIs, only if you grant the relevant permissions, to translate usage into in‑app effects. We do not sell this data.
- Diagnostics and performance data: limited technical information (such as app version, device type, and crash logs) to keep the service reliable and secure.
- Purchase records: if you buy digital goods or subscriptions, our payment partner processes payment details; we receive confirmation of the transaction and entitlement, not your full card information.
- Support communications: what you send when you contact us (for example by email), including your address and the content of your message.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, personalize, and improve Mindling’s features;
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues;
- Process purchases and restore entitlements;
- Comply with law and enforce our terms; and
- Communicate with you about the service or support requests.
We do not use your information to sell personal data to data brokers. Advertising, if any, would be described separately in the app or store listing.
4. Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: (a) performance of a contract (providing the app); (b) legitimate interests (security, improvement, analytics consistent with your expectations); and (c) consent where required (for example optional analytics or marketing). You may withdraw consent where processing is consent‑based.

We share information with service providers who help us operate the app (for example cloud hosting, authentication, crash reporting, or payment processing), subject to contracts that require appropriate protection. We use industry‑standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to reduce risk and notify you when the law requires.
